Offender Monitoring Center Operators have undergone criminal background
checks and have completed an intense training course beore they are
allowed to monitor offenders. All operators sign a confidentiality
agreement and are instructed not to disclose any information to a third
party without written authorization from the contract agency.
The Agency will be notified in "real time" of all offender violations.
Once an Offender violates. an alarm is generated in the Offender
Monitoring Center. An Operator will immediately access that offender's
detailed information and review the parameters set forth by the
Supervising Officer as to which alarms he/she wants to be notified on
and the preferred method of communications. The offender Monitoring
Center operator will follow the directions dictated by the Supervising
Officer. Supervising officers can select their preferred method of
communications, which can include, but is not limited to cell phone,
land line, text message, email, etc. These alarm types include:
Violation of inclusion zone (based upon area and time)
Violation of exclusion zone
Curfews Violations
Tampering with equipment
Battery conditions |
